Fibers & Laminates
A crucial structural layer in any board, laminates are used to generate torsional and longitudinal stiffness. Jones boards are constructed with high-quality fibers, such as biax and triax fiberglass, naturally sourced flax and basalt fiber, and premium carbon fiber, reclaimed from the aerospace industry.
Basalt Laminate [NEW]
Basalt fiber laminate configured at +45°/-45° in our [PRO] Series boards. Derived from volcanic rock, it delivers torsional response, stability and damping with greater stiffness-to-weight ratio than fiberglass, with the lively snap of carbon.

All Jones boards are made with our bio-based epoxy resin.
Durabond Bio-Epoxy [27]
Bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon instead of petroleum-based carbon, sourced from co-products and waste products of plant-based industrial processes. Securely bonds the board layers together for a consistent flex from tip to tail.
